For testing you can always go Image > Mode > Indexed colour

The .psd of the bigrr map I'm making is 1.36gb and i just started it. I can't save for web to even test it and it is taking my computer like 10min just to save my progress. I'm beginning to regret this decision...

na, basic factors of playability are not always recognizable at a glance. how can u know that, if u didnt play? especially when the map is optimized for TS or something unusual (example: #21198, and #20431 - these two maps looks usual primitive made fly shopper maps. But if u can play with TS well, there are many hidden features on those maps, which will be never recognizable without playing)
P.S. watch the replay on this1 #21198 as a prove.

You can tell basic factors of playability at a glance. If there's a closed-in black space on a shopper map with indestructable terrain, it's going to get Clumsy. Likewise, if a great deal of thought and strategy was placed into the weapon placement and balancing of a WfW map, it's more likely to get Elaborate.

I said that playability impacts the Elaborate/Clumsy tags, not that it was the only deciding factor. The tags ultimately come down to how much effort and thought has been put into the map. That effort and thought can be put into any aspect of the map: Design, graphics, or playability.

yeah they give elaborate tag for rich details and give clumsy tag for fail details i think.

Playability comes into the Elaborate/Clumsy tag.

ahahah, dont be rediculous, man, UserC never tests the map. The only way he can give Elaborate is when the map has useless for playing DETAILES like over 9000 sprites, objects, drawed by hand etc. (+ they MUST be clear, beauty and without dither)

Playability comes into the Elaborate/Clumsy tag. At least in the current system.

I wonder how Nando's progressed on the new one?

2. quality

about playability noone give a shit, the only thing they care - no black zones.
