I think its totally impossible to stop spam, deleting the views field the spam is less but if anyone wants to spam, he ends up doing it.
I disagree deleting the download field will be better to stop spam.
Just upload your creations and enjoy with us playing a few :)

How many unused map #'s are there currently. What I mean is, when you delete a map, say #19208 - - that map# turns into an empty slot that will never again be used. Would it be wise to allow these #'s to be reused, or are there repercussions that I am unaware of?

to stop wormspawn at the top, make 1 pixel line across the top of the map #000000.
keeps the border off, too small for worms.

Hm not what i mean. I want it transparent. so the BG is showed. so it aint a color what i mean its more like a black #000000 that apears transparent when the map is played but shows as #000000 when the map is viewed ... somehow. was possible with the colortable when compressing it somehow. Thanx anyway

NOTICE TO ALL USERS
There has been a lot of banter and craziness going on and would like
to make a few points very very clear to you all.

1.Any maps which have been uploaded before will be automatically deleted the minute it has been recognised by a reviewer. The reason why it gets deleted is simple - it already exists on wmdb.org.

2.Remixed maps - there are so many of the same maps being remixed
*cough cough 6666 cough cough* please stop remixing that map - there are plenty of other maps to choose from.

3. On the same note on remixed maps - it is ideal to get the mapmakers permission to remix a map - you can do that by using the PM feature - although us here at WMDB.org recognise that you can't always get a response that you need - so whatever happens - don't just put your name on the map - credit the original map to the original maker of the map ideally with the original map number too.

4.Respect the reviewers decision in the map tagging section. I know there has been many arguments about how you feel the map should have been tagged whether the map is yours or not. You can have your say by using the complain/suggest section as seen on a single map - but please don't just use short talk i.e. "i think it should have good graphics" - you should try to explain WHY it deserves the tags you think it deserves.

If there is a lot of commotion on about the tagging of the map - ideally it will be recorded in the staff shoutbox of the map which then will be a joint decision on what the map might deserve. Some cases - we will try to explain why the map has been tagged in the public shoutbox of the map.

We do aim to please everybody - but this isn't always possible - there will always be something who will never be happy based on the decision we make for every single map that comes through! - please respect our decisions on the reviewing map process.

Us here at wmdb.org thank you for your tremendous support here by continuing to upload your maps here and regularly checking the website and commenting where possible - we honestly couldn't do this site without your support!
