the pc i primarily use to make maps is a desktop with 2gb of RAM. When it stalls i go to my laptop with 4gb and it never fails saving maps. It does it with ease.
i have 4 gbs of ram. that's too small. But my win sees only 3 gbs..
i am going to buy a new laptop with 12 gbs soon, will feedback if PS starts to work faster there..
well, string, if to be short, i used to have 80% for photoshop, and it was lagging as fucking "censored".
And some time ago (1 day) i've got a problem - couldn't save taht not too large 10kx10k map.
but then i back it to 60% and it started to work again. Still lags, but works. https://krakako.com/data/qf2af24s/full_sp1xcz5m8dyi_g.png
wait, you fixed it by allowing it less ram to work with??? maybe i need to adjust mine!! it always gives me problems when saving bigrr maps. What did you set it to, mine is at 100% :P
I made a new big rr map and now can't save it as png8 with 96 colors (PS says: "not enough RAM memory to save"), though it saves the large psd file of the same map without any problems. The size of that map is a bit less than 10'000x10'000.
Rebooting of computer doesn't help.
I made a map, but can't save it... My fucking PC is completely fucked...
