@Fire-lord: No, and I'm not going to either. Not only is it tedious, it's actually a pain in the arse which frankly is not worth a little more fps with some debris. I'm actually quite used to the gameplay as is since I only playtest my maps where overly accurate roping isn't necessary. But thanks for the suggestion. But I'm not saying I wouldn't use the fix when it's released :D

@kuvasz : about your fps problem with background on, have you tried to run the game through a virtual machine like VirtualBox running under windows XP ? I know it sounds a bit tidious but could be a way to avoid your problem... :)

@ShroomPicker : you can specify this while searching a map by clicking on "with features" and ticking the appropriate choice in the "size" line.

For the umpteenth time, ctrl+f5.

As for W:R homing grenades, they bounce just fine up until they hit a worm, at which point they practically become sticky.

This proves the next sequel isn't going to be always better - what Team17 don't seem to have done with W:R - is stick to the W:A but improving graphics, game play options and more - not reducing the game - the more options Team17 should have put in the more vertisile the game will be which is what got W:A so playable and great!

Homing grenades, capped damages, and the "smart jump" are all there for convenience. They're there to cater for casual players who don't familiarise themselves with the game but want success nonetheless. It's why they removed the simple back jump and made the easiest little skips impossible to land while hard ones easy, why they made uzis hit 50 from point blank and 40 from half a map away, and why they made grenades stick to worms - for you to feel awesome even though you suck. This comes at a price, however. And the price is nonexistent competitive play.

And lol I remember reading a post where someone said they sold an alpha build.

ps I almost forgot suck girder control and suck graphics when zoomed out - seriously W:A look sharper and better

Hmm.. Just played W:R; Seems that grenades have a homing ability, ROFL! You could do some pretty interesting stuff with slopes and curves though. Conclusion...
