By the way it's one vote per user account and of course you cannot rate your own maps. Abusers will be banned from rating.

Also what about if the map plays badly, but it's fun, or vise versa (if the map is boring, but it plays well)?

what da ***k are u talkin' about? Overall means "do you like this map or not". It may depend on your other scores as "graphics" and "originality" and other criteria like gameplay or something else, Or it may not depend on any of these. Just do you like to play it or not.
