I think it's safe to say that most people play with black background, yes

mostly people use AfroAmerican background, yea, but some people like to use full background, if the map allows it.
But that's not the problem if u make the map optimized for black background only.

hey im wondering if most people uses black background when they play? because im working on a map where i want to make a little glow around the solid stuff, but if people dont use black as background it will look terrible.

Creepy and interesting. I just don't see how when you "permanently" delete something the space on the drive changes BUT the data is still there!?!?!?

Funny thing happened over night - my phone thinks I am in Illinois (still in Texas..) so I showed up to work over an hour early - and I thought I was gonna be late!!

great to hear i was of help to u.

quite importantly if u have any secrets on computer u don't want others finding out about simply deleting the files won't get rid of the evidence. not saying i have any personal experience

there is programs that are supposed to destroy contents from hard-drive to a point none shall be recovered, although i believe the filenames will still remain recognizable

this brings me to another related thing, since even deleted text messages can be restored from phones. incase u wanna do some spying around :D

This has dramatically changed the way I thought computers worked and I'm going to do this on people's used computers i buy from them. /me is nosey

Thanks for your help, Don

Any tower fanatics...

Spoiler:
i've been working hard on the next tower, ever since finishing the first tower of mine. can't believe it's been 1,5y almost already, but my second tower is about 90% finished already, so i guess i should get a fully playable version out in a couple of months. if u're interested of being a tester (only good tower players plz) message me by the end of the year. anyway expect greatness ;)

oh and one more thing. don't ever restore the deleted files to the same drive, as that will quite possibly overwrite the blocks being used by the source files. it's necessary to restore to another hard-drive

oh man stringking. well if it's deleted only u could try recovery program such as Restoration and PC Inspector File Recovery and Undelete Plus. those are free

i used to use EasyRecovery Professional myself when hard-drives had to be formatted even, still recovered the files.

if that stuff was on ur system drive it's important to stop copying files or downloading anything as these actions may make recovery of certain files impossible, and u don't wanna miss a key file from a program for example. i don't know how the deletion happened but perhaps this should do the trick

and in future it's so easy to back up to online service such as sugarsync for free up to 5gb+, totally automatically too.

well aside from the usual bummer i can only suggest to make quick sketches of the unfinished maps while the memory is still fresh what they looked like
